I started Read Write Geek at the beginning of lockdown almost a year ago, because I wanted to give my friends and fans a little extra boost of love by reading my in-progress novel, Nothing Larger Than These Stars, to them aloud. Afterwards, however, the blog kind of languished as I was eaten alive by the news cycle, pandemic worries, and all the extra work teaching from quarantine heaped upon me.
It’s a new year, though, and it’s time for Read Write Geek to make a comeback! I’m in the process of a reboot, and starting on Feb. 11 I’ll be back to bringing you weekly content on writing, reading, querying, publishing, and the occasional rant. I’m planning everything from notes on my journey toward being published to interviews with authors who have landed agents or successfully self-published. You’re also in for rants with friends, geeky VR asides, and the occasional out-of-hand round of literary “F**k Marry Kill.” It’s going to be fun!
